Tourism Department


As one of tourist destinations, it is undeniable that Bali needs reliable workforce, especially in tourism sectors. They are expected to be able to provide good, fast and satisfying services. This department has two study programs: Travel and Tourism Study Program and Hotel and Hospitality Study Program.
 

The Travel and Tourism Study Program gives the students the subjects concerning marketing, reservation, international and domestic ticketing, airline cargo, the operation of tour, guiding, tour leadership, MICE (meeting, incentive, convention andexhibition), as well as packing and shipping. Therefore, they have the capabilities in working at tourism sectors, such as airlines companies, travel agents, cargoes, and ground handling (at the airport). Meanwhile, the Hotel and   Hospitality Study Program will give the subjects concerning hotel matters, such as: food and beverage production, food and beverage service, handling restaurant’s operation, housekeeping, preparing and conducting MICE, front office, handling the purchase and storage of hotel goods at the stockroom,  marketing, cruise ships, and handling hotel financial report. Students must do on-the-job training program for 3 until 6 months in Indonesia or overseas, such as in Singapore, Dubai, and the United States.
